Data & Monitoring
The Institute maintains an ongoing function to track indicators of Jordan's economic sectors and monitor their shifts over time, proceeding from the conviction that sound decision-making requires a living knowledge base that pulses with continuous updating, not a static snapshot captured once and then forgotten. It gathers data from reliable institutional sources, organizes and analyzes it, and reads its structural implications, so that a figure becomes an indicator of fragility or resilience within the system rather than an isolated value. In this monitoring, the Institute gives particular attention to agri-food sector indicators, given their sensitivity to water, production, trade, and strategic reserves, capturing early signals of imbalance before they turn into crises, and giving both the policymaker and the investor a tool for tracking the impact of decisions and measuring progress toward their goals.
